HELLO, I'M KATRINA!
ABOUT ME
Since a very young age, my greatest interest was the animal kingdom. In particular, I always wanted to understand how animals think, what they feel and how they communicate and express these feelings inter- and intraspecifically. To measure the well-being of animals, we need valid indicators that tell us about their physical and mental health, as well as an understanding of how they perceive their environment. With my research I want to contribute to this understanding and share the findings with as many people as possible, hoping to increase empathy towards farm animals in the future.
